Heldar
Heldar
Description
Elaborate, snaking caverns, smoothed and engraved with runes and reliefs. Inlaid with precious metals, pathways of gold. Rivers of mead and massive banquet halls flanked with statues and depictions of the greatest of the Dver. Banners of each house that made it to the Halls hang from the arches, leading towards the throne room of the Erigrim.
Translated from Dver as “The Gods’ Hearthplace”, Heldar is the final rest for all Dver souls that served a life of honor and virtue.
All good Dver wish to one day be granted passage into this heaven of eternal sport, revelry, battle and friendship. Here the souls of Dver warriors are in an eternal battle against the devils of Reilagg and their patron Durathor.
Heldar is described as a deep city beneath the biggest mountain in creation. It runs so deep that its caverns reach the eternal darkness of Reilagg, the deepest part of the Underworld - where the battles against the forsaken of Durathor are fought.
Though any plane has a theoretical access point through Aegis’ Dimensional Crossroads, no known gates exist to Heldar. The only accounted way into Heldar is through Urir granting explicit passage, and typically only for Dver upon their death.
