Description
The Reilagg is the deepest caverns and the darkest places one will find at the very bottom of the world. Sometimes it is mistaken for the bottomless pit of Tartarus, but this is not the case. The Reilagg is a place of corruption and decay, a place of despair and hopelessness.
Translated from Dver as “The Lair of Vermin”, Reilagg is the deepest part of the Dver Underworld.
This is the domain of the god Durathor, antithesis of the Erigrim. It is a place to be feared and fought against. It is not seen as a place of punishment (such as many humans believe) where un-virtuous Dwarves are sent after death. Instead it is the essence of corruption that drives the war on Heldar, the darkness of the deep caverns.
The Reilagg is said to be existing both in the realm of the gods and on the Azthin - the Dver name for the material realm. When You dig deep enough, chances are you will open up a cavern into this forsaken realm.
