Erthan manifests as a figure of bountiful harvest and eternal growth, the very essence of the earth’s fertility made divine. He is the gentle rain, the glistening sun and the subtle breeze that brings the scent of the fields to the air.
He sometimes takes the shape of a weathered farmer of perfect bearing, his hands calloused from honest toil and his eyes gleaming with the wisdom of seasons uncounted. Always gentle, and always kind, he is the father of the fields and the shepherd of man.
Though never seen wielding weapons of war, he is often associated with a scythe—not for battle, but for the sacred act of harvest and the gentle tending of the land.
His presence brings with it the promise of abundance and the gentle certainty that the earth will provide for those who tend it with care.

For all mortals hunger, and all hunger requires the earth’s bounty And the gentle keeper of the eternal seasons is Erthan the Kind. To him flow countless prayers for the life-giving rains and the abundant harvest, for he is the divine hand that blesses both the fertile soil and those who toil upon it. He is the protector of those who work the fields with calloused hands and hopeful hearts, the gentle shepherd who tends to his flock of farmers and tillers. He is the one who stills the locust’s hunger and brings peace to the trembling fields.
The followers of Erthan are looked upon with deep respect, as the providers of sustenance and the guardians of the land’s bounty. Though the clergy may be seen as humble by some, the Father of Rain is regarded by all who depend on the soil as the very foundation of their survival and the source of their prosperity.
Wherever crops grow and fields stretch to the horizon, Erthan is called upon to bless the planting and ensure the harvest. Whether to grant some form of divine favor for the growing season or to provide protection from drought and blight, Erthan receives countless prayers from those seeking the blessing of the earth.
The followers of Erthan are those who have dedicated their lives to the cultivation of the land, who have seen the changing seasons and chosen to work in harmony with nature’s cycles, and who have learned that patient toil and respect for the earth are more powerful than the fickle nature of greed. They include farmers who tend their fields with ancient wisdom, traders who bring the fruits of the earth to distant markets, and those who have endured great hardship and emerged stronger for having learned to trust in the earth’s natural abundance.
