Irthor & Kidan manifest as a figure of boundless discovery and mechanical perfection, the very essence of knowledge and invention made divine. There is no image that can capture the essence of the Di-being. Not even their most devout followers have ever seen them manifest in flesh. Yet their divine presence is found in their creations: Clockwork humanoids, Myst-machines, or even the Archives of Artificum Campestribus itself.
It is said that they once had true forms, that of the greatest artificers, now consumed into their own creations, their minds melded into their very fabric, their souls forever bound to the pursuit of knowledge and the perfection of mechanical creation.
Their presence brings with it the hum of gears and the promise that all mysteries can be solved through the application of logic and invention.
Common Worship
Section titled “Common Worship”Though revered and respected, formal worship of the Di-being is rare. Those who do so are often seen as eccentric or even insane. Only those who are in the know, who study the movements of the cosmos and the secrets of the universe, can truly understand the power of the Di-being.
Even so, the followers of Irthor & Kidan are looked upon with deep respect, as the seekers of knowledge and the masters of invention. The clergy may be seen as eccentric by some, often times replacing parts of their own bodies with strange mechanisms and clockwork contraptions.
Wherever knowledge is sought and inventions are crafted, Irthor & Kidan are called upon to guide the curious and inspire the creation of new wonders.
