In the ancient times before the great war between gods and dragons, when the world was young and the cosmic scales hung in perfect equilibrium, Lenkinfail ascended to divinity as an ancient copper dragon. His true form is that of a magnificent copper-scaled serpent, his hide gleaming like burnished metal in the eternal twilight, his eyes holding the wisdom of ages and the patience of mountains. Similar to Martivir, he is an ascended dragon, but where Martivir serves the rule of absolute law, Lenkinfail serves the rule of balance and harmony.
Yet sometimes he chooses to walk among mortals as a copper-skinned Dver with flowing white hair that cascades like a waterfall of moonlight, his presence radiating the calm authority of one who has seen the rise and fall of civilizations.
Lenkinfail embodies the eternal dance of opposites—light and shadow, creation and destruction, joy and sorrow, order and chaos—all held in perfect balance. His symbol, a split disc of black and white divided by a gap, represents the eternal truth that nothing exists in isolation, that every action has its equal and opposite reaction, and that true wisdom lies in understanding the harmony between all things.
His presence brings with it the profound silence of perfect balance and the certainty that all things find their equilibrium in time.
Common Worship
Section titled “Common Worship”The followers of Lenkinfail are seen as the guardians of balance and as seekers of wisdom. The clergy are excessively contemplative, taking pleasure in philosophical discourse and the study of the universe. The Eternal Scale is regarded by all who seek understanding as the ultimate expression of wisdom and the source of their inner peace.
Wherever justice is sought and balance is needed, Lenkinfail is called upon to guide the seeker and illuminate the path of harmony. Whether to grant some form of divine wisdom or to provide clarity in matters of moral complexity, the Copper Sage receives countless prayers from those seeking to understand the deeper truths of existence.
The followers of Lenkinfail are those who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of balance, who have seen the interplay of extreme chaos and order, and chosen to become its counterweight rather than be consumed by it. They are often very learned in philosophy and law, practicing as ethical judges to those who are of an open mind. They have learned that wisdom and patience are more powerful than passion and fury.
