Common title
Seth was born in a violent cosmic event called the Chaos Comet, where a star crashed into the chaos moon of Nox. Birthed by violence she embodies the chaos that created her. Sisters Firna and Callad are her siblings in a sense, being born of Nox, but Seth;s violent origins set her apart from them.
Seth rarely shows her face, even among the divine, and rather sends her Draegloth servants wherever her instructions need to be known. It is said, however, that her face, though once beautiful, is now scarred and mutilated beyond recognition by the chaos of her hatred. When she does manifest, she appears as a figure wreathed in flames and smoke, her once-fair features twisted by the cosmic event that birthed her.
Her presence brings with it the weight of burning ambition and the cold certainty that chaos will consume all who stand in her way.
Common Worship
Section titled “Common Worship”Seth is feared by most, as she drives minds to destruction. The day that Seth decides to unleash her divine fury is dreaded by all. But Seth is also a goddess of many blessings to those with the right ambitions and who aren’t afraid to use any means available to them. Since her methods often include murder or similar action, the followers of Seth worship mostly in secret.
In societies where there are none of these moral qualms, Seth inspires individualism and isolated prosperity to those with the will to power. And her high priests and priestesses enjoy her blessings for their devotion to chaos.
Wherever rivalries turn vengeful and ambition drives decisions, Seth is called upon to acknowledge the seeker’s need for power. Whether to grant some form of divine fury or to provide protection through the power of destruction, Seth receives many prayers from those who operate in the shadows of their ambitions.
The followers of Seth are those who have embraced the chaos within themselves, who have seen the corruption of the world and chosen to exploit it rather than fight it, and who have learned that ambition and destruction are more reliable than the fickle nature of mercy. They include those who seek power through any means necessary, those who have been wronged and seek destructive vengeance, and those who have endured great betrayal and emerged stronger for having learned to trust no one and fear nothing.
