Said to be the chosen son of the original dragon mother, Mekla, Throden resembles an ancient White dragon whose very presence commands respect and awe. Prismatic veins cover his scales as scars, shifting colors eerily whip like ribbons in the wind across his massive form. Surrounding him is an aura of awe, fear, and surprising benevolence at first, as his silver eyes laced with golden specs bore down into your soul with the weight of countless millennia.
Throden stands as a guard to the divine realms, having been there at the beginning and being one of the oldest beings in the cosmos. He has lived a long, immortal life even before ascending to divinity, making him a repository of knowledge that predates the very concept of mortality. Especially where the ancient laws of balance in the divine realms are concerned, he is sought out for his council, even by the other gods.
His will and purpose is to preserve the ancient knowledge and secrets of Dragon-kind, and therefore many mythical, arcane artifacts and secrets bear his name. The very foundations of draconic magic and the deepest mysteries of the cosmos are said to be locked within his vast memory, passed down through the ages to those worthy of such knowledge.
His presence brings with it the weight of ancient wisdom and the cold certainty that the secrets of the cosmos are guarded by one who has witnessed the birth of time itself.

They include scholars who dedicate their lives to the study of ancient texts, guardians who protect the sacred places of draconic power, and those who have endured the test of time and emerged stronger for having learned to respect the ancient laws that govern all things.
