Customs
Section titled “Customs”Since the ancient times, the Tylwyth people have been at war. First with each other, and later unified against the Dver Imperium during the Age of Stone. They are natural born warriors who find honour in martial mastery. With a history of blood and a culture of war, Tylwyth are known as the best battle-masters in Myrth, many of them serving as generals and strategists for foreign nations.
They are a culture driven by base desires and will often procreate with other people and cultures. Half-Elves born from these unions often retain many of the characteristics of the Tylwyth parent, and are generally accepted as kin in most parts of the world.
Mythically, they are believed to have been created from the Seed of the Moons, giving them an acute fascination with the mystical. Their origins give them awareness and respect of magic, though not many Tylwyth pursue wizardry as an art form. This awareness however has enabled their few scholars to develop a ritualistic type of naturalistic spellcasting, referred to as Low Magic.
Of all the races, possibly being the most long lived of all, Tylwyth share a unified sense of responsibility. They will often decide to unify in groups in order to stand strong against any manner of threat they perceive. Often times looking far beyond the short span of a life, seeing the patterns of the world as the ages pass.
